In my blog I refer to the "Conservative Party" as "NewToriesUSRepublicanPartyofEngland" and the "Labour Party" as "NewLabourUSDemocratPartyofEngland".
I refer to them as such because this is principally what they are.
How do the Liberal Democrats fit into this pattern? I am not sure.
In some ways they are European and hence don't fit. Which is a good thing!

EXEMPLAR HUMANAE VITAE - SPECIMEN OF A HUMAN LIFE. I am not really a sofa. But I try to be a filosofa. This is the parent blog of my other blogs which all began here, and which in totality constitute the views of an urban peasant living in London. Including some thoughts on politics, psychology, religion, employment and education. And a little humour. I am a rationalist, a humanist and an atheist and I write from a green/socialist/libertarian perspective.

"AGORA"
Talking of philosophy, I made the effort to go and see "AGORA" at my local multiplex.
It is about the life of the (female) philosopher of 4th century Alexandria - HYPATIA, played by Holy Lady and Activist Actress Rachel Weisz (aka Mrs. James Bond).
It is set around the time of the crumbling of Classical civilisation.
So the theme of the crumbling of civilisation is of course quite topical, seeing as our supposed "civilisation" is of course crumbling around us.
I was glad that this film - which is historical and about philosophy - and hence maybe a bit "arthouse" - was on at the mainstream "multiplex".
It was good. Better than I had expected.
HYPATIA was a sort of martyr to Philosophy.
The film is a powerful exposure of religious evolution and religious intolerance. It shows some positive aspects of religion.
I don't necessarily myself see a conflict between religion and philosophy.
This film is well constructed and has wonderful citiscapes.....

I am thinking of actually voting Green in a "Gen. Election."
I am thinking of actually voting Green.
Because
a) I am a member of the party so I ought to really:)
b) I am so distanced politically from the mainstream parties. They are all pro-economic growth etc... and hence all bonkers:)
c) It will register my rejection of mainstream politics - if only statistically.
d) Tactical voting is almost as futile as anything else.

Welcome to my internut webshite!
Welcome to my webshite !
Welcome to me webshite init.
I have a website therefore I exist.
Now every fruitcake on the planet can see how much of a fruitcake I am.
Greetings to you all.
No one is obliged to make anything of what I write.
Go on and think for yourself.
Try independent thought. It's the only kind of thought that there is.
And try not to take that plane.
If you can walk to Japan when you go on holiday there instead of going there by plane, then please try to.
If you are wondering where everyone is, they are at the airport.

You may think some of the things in my "think tank" and in my life don't live up to it.
Well I try and I will keep trying.

Blog back up
My blog is back up and will stay up.
Amongst the reasons this time are:
1) It is quite good.
2) I can't see anything too bad about putting it up.
3) I couldn't give a bollocks.
