Consumerism and Charity Shops

Consumerism.

There is a documentary about a charity shop.

The woman presenting it said that she found the shop disgusting and was not impressed by the quality of the donations.

The real disgrace is the amount of things that people consume .
The real disgrace is the amount of things that people buy that they do not need.

Almost everything anyone buys will end up in a charity shop if it is not thrown away.

There are so many many shops selling so much brand new stuff. So much of it is not needed.
So much is thrown away.........

Also, I repeat that:
MUSIC and the ARTS in general are not really INDUSTRIES...

Discuss.

Psychology

- Regret - understandable but pointless.

- Guilt - pointless.

- Forgiveness - correct.

My faculty of reason (whether God-given or not) shows me that these points are undeniable.

My life consists in exposing them.
But I wouldn't have discovered that they were
lies if I hadn't been their victim.
